In other news...

I have a case of the creeping awfuls so you get link snark today.

Apparently some voodoo witch doctor says Libertarianism is a fairy tale.

Oh, wait, a psychologist?

Same fucking difference.

Peter Corning, Ph.D.
Nice to see unbiased, fact based science.
How many people died of acute "Not-agreeing-with-the-State-ophrenia" due to your profession, you balding, sloppy joweled hack?  You live in academia, the biggest fairy tale of all, and you tell me my political ethos doesn't apply to the real world?  You wouldn't know the real world if it raped you, labeled you as undesirable, and stuck you in a gulag to freeze.

Suck my fairy tale dick.

A General Rant

Every time I think my disgust with federal politics has reached it's watershed, they come up with amazing new ways to shock and disappoint me.  It's to the point where I can't even come up with a specific rant for each particular sad case of petty minded vermin fucking good people over; I would just be repeating the stuff I've said about everything from the Patriot Act to Benghazi to the fucking Whiskey Rebellion.

So here's my generalized rant, directed at random.

Fuck you and your fucking insanity.  There will be no utopia and pretty soon no civilization if you keep it up with your bullshit.  Every word out of your stupid fucking face hole makes it more likely that American cities will burn in my lifetime.  If you love God and infastructure more than you love controlling the lives of American citizens, you will just fucking stop.

The world can only take so much utopian circle jerking.  I'm not some hardcase that believes that government cannot help anyone, but it isn't treason or idealism to see that there is a point of diminishing returns and that we are well past it.  Further fuckery will only create a self fulfilling prophecy that can only end in smoldering ruins.

Still, after the inevitable happens, any federal bureaucrat will be welcome in the Free Republic of Scumfucktopia.  We'll need people to muck out the stables.

A Curious Question

Has anyone else noticed a number of preppers coming out of the woodwork lately?  I've been asked for prep advice by people who less than a year ago would have scoffed at the very idea.  What's more-because anyone can BS around the water cooler-I've gotten wind of some pretty serious purchases and training lately from folks that I always thought were on the poseur list.

What has people scared?  It isn't me; I've been preaching the same Doom and Hellfire on the streets of Btown the whole damn time.  My message hasn't changed but somehow the response to that message has changed.  Is it the news?  Maybe, but all of these have been fairly sensible people and sensible people should damn well know the news thrives on a state of perpetual panic that doesn't necessarily translate to blood in the streets.

I've gotten not one but two independent cases of my liberal friends freaking out about a possible civil war, one of which actually mentioned the Threepers by name.

I've gotten enrolees in my karate class who have an eye for prepping rather than hobbyism.  Not strictly bitching about this because it has really made class a lot better, but it is unusual to see multiple cases crop up at once, and openly.

Every gun show, every online vendor, every brick and mortar and army surplus store is paying hard cash for magazines and still struggling to keep stock on the shelves.  Every.  Fucking.  One.  This one I am complaining about, make no mistake.

What everybody asks me, as if a scumfuck who has been preaching the exact same message for ten years with no apocalypse has any answers, is "When is it going to go off the tracks?"  And I always have to say "I have no fucking idea.  Not now, and not then."  The writing on the walls-the signs of a society that is not sustainable-has been freely available to anyone who can do basic math for a long time now.  But a timetable was not included with my apocalypse manual.  Still, it has been interesting steering people onto what I hope is the right path.

Besides, I can always use more zombie bait.

How Do I Join the Ronnie Barrett Fan Club?

All right, so here's the problem.  Ronnie Barrett is awesome and I want to send him my money.

Your first question probably isn't "Why is Ronnie Barrett Awesome?" but in case it was, here's why.

Elected state officials of , having been sworn to protect our Constitution, have instead committed an offense against it and their citizens by stripping inalienable rights duly protected and guaranteed under the Second Amendment. By their deliberate and sinister actions, these officials now cause their state and local policing agencies to enforce these unconstitutional and illegal so called “laws.”
By current law, Barrett cannot be an accomplice with any lawbreaker, therefore, cannot and will not service or sell to New York government agencies. Barrett also applies this stance to the individual elected official who, as a matter of public record, has voted for or created regulation that violates the constitutional rights of their citizens. This is an expansion of our 2002 ban against the California government due to their Second Amendment infringements, and shall apply to any future violators.

Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2013/02/21/ronnie-barrett-barrett-firearms-will-not-service-or-sell-to-new-york-government-agencies/#ixzz2NZ4ExTVB

So yeah, pretty obvious.  This isn't even their first time doing this to a .gov agency.

The real dilemma I'm having is that I want to send the dude my money, but I don't want to send him $4000 bucks worth of my money for a super sick 50 cal rifle.  I don't really have a slot for it in my tactical defense needs, by my own fucking judgement and no one else's but I still want to show my support for a dude with the nads of a buffalo who stands up to this kind of government bullshit.

My solution is pretty simple: Fucking T-Shirts.  Does that make me a poseur if I have the T-Shirt but not the rifle?

I don't think so motherfucker.  I'm just part of the fan club.

Grovelling Sniveling Driveling Horde...

...to worship scaly overload.

I'm gonna present the following link on Reddit.

Don't be fooled by the name.  This is where the gun grabbers are making their stand on Reddit.  Call it the Reddit Front of the Gun Control "Conversation."

Look at their rules, their statements, the hoops you have to jump through just to see the actual hot posts.  Look at their stated purpose, how carefully they assure that they will have Reasoned Discourse and nothing else.  From their sidebar image:

"Because of an ongoing vote brigade by all the pro gun subreddits, all links will remain hidden until you do the following (Bullshit settings change instructions that any retard should be able to figure out on his own.)
THEY: (Referring to you, the gun owning public with an internet connection and an opinion) Dominate reddit and real life - 100,000+ Redditors - 300,000,000 Lobbying Budget - They own your politicians - They suffocate opposition.
WE: (Referring to the bold crusaders for "Reasonable" gun control) ...don't have any of that.  But we do have a sense of humor.  We own guns, but actually care about their impact.  So when they snap and go on a rampage, we say....GUNS ARE COOL.
Down vote brigaded since 12/22/12

Why do anti gunners hate democracy so much that half of their sidebar is devoted to how awful and unfair it is to be voted down?  Wah, wah, we have to debate in an unmoderated environment and we keep losing, wah, wah, the big bad NRA must be paying people to downvote.

Listen.  They are so fucking afraid of you that they have to hide their posts, hide their motivations, hide endlessly pissing themselves quietly in the dark of the internet and hope no one catches on.

It'll take a gunblogger with more clout than me to really open a front there, but I bet we could rout them entirely off reddit if they are this pitifully outmatched.  It's something I'd like to see.

Ground Report: Bloomington Day of Resistance

So I took a couple of the tribe and my daughter to the Bloomington Indiana Day of Resistance pro gun rally today down at the courthouse.  It was surprisingly large-about 50 people overall.  It got cut short early, before I had a chance to give the speech I had prepared and, of course, plug my book.  Other than that, it turned out pretty well.  We showed up with some donuts for the war effort which I think everyone appreciated.  None of us were open carrying but there were a few people that were, mostly pistols although one guy had a bitchin' tac'ed out shotgun.

The speakers were OK; it was hard to hear some of it because the mic went dead early on and it was mostly just talking loud over the ambient noise.  I got to meet the libertarian candidate Andrew Horning, who is a pretty decent guy.  I think everybody speaking was passionate and most of them had some good messages, but nobody really wowed the crowd with their oration the way I would have...but that's to be expected.

The police did not show up until almost forty five minutes after the rally itself started and they remained discretely positioned about twenty yards away.  To me, this signifies that they didn't know about the event in advance or I feel there would have been both more police presence and they would have been there the whole time.  Still, they were polite and non confrontational, and the crowd was the same.  In general I have no complaints about the local police; if this had been the Indianapolis rally, God knows they would have been drinking, but Monroe County Sheriff's Dept and BPD both are pretty competent.

Gracie had a good time regardless; she kept wanting them to start up the chant and sing the national anthem again, she had a lot of fun with that.  She ate donuts and played in the mud and charmed everyone there to the point where they will probably remember "The Creepy Longhair with the Cute Kid" rather than "Chris By-The-Throat, author of the upcoming novel Codex Kalachnikova."  C'est la vie.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop some ground truths from my AO.  Did anyone else attend one of these events?

Where We Need To Focus

So where do gun owners need to focus now, in this little legal battle of the bulge?

Strategically, we are and have been winning.  The facts (well, the peer reviewed ones anyway) are consistently on our side.  The court decisions have been in our favor.  State governments are getting the picture and expanding gun ownership.  This is a desperate cheap shot, the cheapest shot of all, and they were prepared for it the second there was an opening with a dog and pony show the likes of which I hope to never see again.

Final nail in the coffin for gun control?  It could be, if we make the push.  What do we need to do? I have taken the liberty of compiling a bullet list.

1. The modern debate is defined by sound bites.  The infographic and the snarky parody facebook picture, along with twitter, means that you need to fit more content into less space.  The gun banners are rallying on tumblr and twitter and trying to appear larger than they are.  We know, from every comment thread on every news article, from every six month waiting period for ATF paperwork, for every long ass line outside the sheriff's office for CCW paperwork, that we outnumber then en masse, and every echo chamber they build is one we can overwhelm them in-if we are willing to go there.

2. Internal witch hunt.  We need to either educate or publicly shame the Gun Owner Butts.  You know, the ones that will let them take your semi auto rifle as long as they can keep their precious shotgun and why do you crazies need an assault weapon anyhow?  We crucified Zumbo and that other guy that Zumboed when they stepped out of line and we need to continue doing so at every opportunity.  Let them know "Need" has nothing to do with it.

3. Full court press on the local front.  The absolute best thing we can do right now to safeguard our rights is to push our state legislature to assert their own rights.  Do you know the name of your local State Senator?  What about your Sheriff?  Make them say in public that they will stick to the various Firearms Freedom acts that have been passed.  If they won't, elect yourself a firebrand.  A libertarian president might be a pipe dream, but a libertarian sheriff could make your life a lot easier as a gun owner.

4. While I'm on the subject of party-FOR GOD'S SAKE ABANDON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.  Even if Family Guy hadn't Godwined the Republican Party into irrelevance already, the Heffalumps no longer represent small government OR gun rights.   Every crowing establishment republican that is gleefully going "This wouldn't have happened with My Guy, but you jerks had to go off into Wookieland..."  Shake him by his wise old head and scream in his face "GUN OWNERS HAVE CARRIED THE TORCH FOR YOU CRAPSACK HEFFALUMPS FOR TOO LONG AND YOU SERVE UP MITT "ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN" ROMMNEY?"  They fucking deserved to lose and you know it, so wipe that partisan grin off your face and make it happen.

5. Continue networking and training as if you are going to fight a war.  I can't promise you one won't come, whether I like it or not.  But these cowards-not so much in government but as in media-need to see that the big stick is there and what the big stick is for.

Haters Gonna Hate...

I see a lot of good folks in the various III \ Prepper \ Gunblog community engaged in some rather grisly sniping at one another.  The worst thing about that sentence is that I could easily add "As Usual."

I personally avoid blog drama; my instinct is generally to walk the other way when it becomes a knock-down drag out Flame War.  But I feel like I have to stick my dick in the toaster this time, for no other reason than because of my own conscience.

It seems the focus is on Kerodin & Co's III Citadel project.  I'm not involved in the project, or the related III arms product, except perhaps for the 18 simultaneous boners I pop when I look at their custom 1911.  I personally don't know if a Patriot Fortress is a wise idea, but I'm not some strategic genius, just a perverted stoner with an unsold manuscript and a cheap AK.  But I don't get the butthurt from the larger community, and what I really don't get is the people that parrot the butthurt without thinking.  (I really expected better of Rawles; being a former spook, you'd think he'd know to check his sources.)  It seems like, as the project moves forward, everybody and his brother has an opinion on it even if they have no skin in the game.

Anyway, if anyone wants my opinion, here it is: stow your fucking butthurt, haters.  It isn't doing anyone any good.  If you think the idea is a strategic and public relations failure, don't send your money.  But going out on a mission to tear down something people are trying to build-something that has the potential to be a pretty sweet setup-just because the guy who came up with it is someone you have a personal distaste for...you are hurting your own cause.

There aren't a lot of folks who believe in genuine liberty right now.  And part of the reason we are so easy to dismiss as a group is because we can't stop sniping at one another from the sidelines.  I understand that all of you are men of principle (This is not a charge you can lay at the feet of Chris By-The-Throat) and that you have all said words you cannot take back with honor.  I would not ask you to do so as this would imply that you were not men of principle and it is one of the things I like about this community.

But you can be an asshole with honor, and that is what all of the haters are accomplishing.  Honor does not provide immunity from the charge of Being A Dick, and right now, some of you are doing nothing more for our community than that.

New Word: Goreography

As in, the blood dancing from the gun control crowd is as sickening as it is predictable, but sometimes you just have to sit back and admire the goreography.  Tears, Mr. President.  Tears within hours, and an elaborate tearful ceremony by Sunday.

How long were you gutless cowards waiting for a suitably telegenic massacre?  And of course anyone who brings up concealed carry as a solution is "politicizing tragedy" but anyone who brings up gun control as a solution is just "trying to have a conversation."

The most egregious offender in the blood dancing category is this one with "Why does a tragedy like 9/11 change everything about air travel, but numerous gun massacres CHANGE NOTHING?"  Yeah, suddenly liberals are all OK with the post-9/11 invasive security measures, the Patriot Act, Guantanamo...they don't even see the hypocrisy.

Stuff your fucking "conversation."

A Convenient Rebuttal to an Inane Argument

As a libertarian you get this shit all the time.  "ZOMG BUT WHO WILL BUILD THE ROADS?"

Combined with this story about non union workers being turned away from areas hit by the storm, and this story about the Occupy Sandy movement doing relief work pretty much puts that argument to bed.  How?

#1: Regulating the holy crap out of everything means well meaning relief efforts get stymied by red tape.
#2: People will genuinely do good for one another if left alone to do so.

You don't need a fucking government to build roads.  Everyone who has ever walked in the woods knows that even a fucking deer can build a road.  By subjecting anything, roads, power, any so called 'critical infastructure' to excessive government regulation, you just ensure the private contractors who are actually doing the physical work have to hire more lawyers of the Mandarin class to make sure their shit is up to code.  Since lawyers don't generally work for free, especially when compared to construction workers this raises the cost exponentially.  What you morons are doing is bailing out the new priest-king class.  (Incidentally, you are also doing this with your fancy Obamacare)

Boom, done.  You statist scum need to come up with a new fucking argument.

The Grand Ann Barnhardt Debacle

You know, I don't like Ann Barnhardt.  I get that everyone else in the survivalist blogosphere seems to like her and I even understand why, but I simply cannot dig somebody that wants to enforce archaic sexual mores by the sword.  Why?  Well, I don't particularly care to be hauled off to re-education camp to cure my deviant pervert devil-inspired sex practices, regardless of how well the precedent is established or how much "constitutional" language you dress it up in.  The Liberty Sphere needs to stop losing sleep over sodomy and start worrying about genuine threats to human liberty and dignity.

But damn that woman is apparently getting the shaft from Fedgov, and I find it frankly disgusting.

I don't read her shit regularly so I have very little context, but if it is actually an "Economic Waco" being perpetuated on her for nothing more than speaking out, as Wraith seems to think, then the last few shreds of legitimacy this government is clinging to are shrivelling up the Wicked Witch of the East.  The fact that I don't like her and would live in fear were she suddenly appointed overlord is irrelevant; this is the IRS coming down hard on a blogger who is politically inconvenient and popular.  It wouldn't matter if she was the most gun controllin-est, taxin-est, foreign warrin-est blogger in the entire country-she should not have to face financial terrorism just because the Leviathan doesn't like what she say.

I will be interested in how this story plays out.  There may be more to it than I knew.  But...well, my own supposed intellectual integrity, along with the concept of Jefferson's Rightful Liberty, demands that I respect the rights of those that I disagree with or even those I despise.  And this is a pretty good example of how this administration is not hampered in the least by that little concept.  Of course, the very fact that the term "Economic Waco" exists means there were others-I would be very surprised if she was the first.

Interesting times.

The One Opinion No One Demanded

Ya'll have been waiting on the edge of your seats for my commentary on the Presidential debates, right?  Sit down and and be electrified.

Please smoke a bowl first; I'm much funnier then.

Not that Romney is any friend of mine, but man, I enjoyed hearing the squeals of the Cult of O on NPR after he was crucified on live TV last night, even with the moderator obviously biased towards the left side of the aisle.  I guess I'm just a natural apostate; I like seeing wannabe utopians face the fact that their brazen idol sucks, all swagger and no rain.

Fundamentally, the reptiles of the GOP old guard are proving what they based their entire decision on: that their boy can beat Obama.  I am convinced of this now, where perhaps I wasn't before given the cult of worship surrounding the big O.  What I am not convinced of is that a Mittens presidency will even put the tiniest speedbump in this careening train to fascist utopia.  Mitt is a Statist and will propose Statist solutions to Statist problems.  That would be the fucking problem right there, and MA is a damn fine example of it.

Maybe, MAYBE he can hold to the party line on gun rights, which is in itself not enough-I want someone dismantling this asinine surfeit of bizarre restrictions on personal weaponry, not murmuring weakly about "Enforcing current laws."  I want a much better cut of bleeding meat on Gunwalker.  I want GCA & NFA to be a curious relic in history books.  I want fucking Constitutional Carry.  "Supporting Gun Rights" is not "Keeping Things the Exact Same Way They Are."  That alone would reassure me that Individual Liberty and not Heffalump-flavored-tyranny is  the agenda, because it would be ceding a certain tactical advantage to FREEFOR in the form of better access to the really nasty killer toys.  That is, of course, why they will never do it.

Don't tell me about how your boy can beat Obama-that man is an empty suit, a bobble headed media face supported by the most expensive propaganda machine in human history.  And Mittens, for all his faults, has swum in the shark filled waters of political intrigue for a long time and never been eaten.  Sure he can beat Obama.  What you need to convince me of is what advantage we gain by having him in the God-Emperor chair, especially considering the stupid staggering percentage of "Patriots" who will STAND DOWN IMMEDIATELY if that happens.

In the end, the question of Social Justice vs. Individual Freedom will be settled, and not in a debate hall.  You know what I should be doing instead of scrawling this nonsense?  Fucking PT.

Good night, America.

Emergency State of the Drug Culture Address

Once again from my pulpit as God Emperor of Freaks, Faggots, Drunks and Junkies, I am forced to come to the podium to talk about an issue that is still, despite my rants on the subject, quite frankly killing us all.

First off: E Tu, Kumar?

Every fucking time.  I get this shit every fucking time.

The guy makes his fortune off of stoners.  They(we) get baked enough that his shitty movies are funny and give him their money.  And the guy lies to cover for the Big O, saying and I quote:

"But what the president has done is take a really smart look at the Department of Justice and said, given the fact that the federal government has limited resources, we should be allocating them toward violent criminals and not towards non-violent criminals."

Either you are lying or completely retarded, Penn.  The memo stoners like to tout about MM facility raids has already been tossed to the wayside like a used rubber-I mean why actually stick with the policy when you can tout the one memo through the whole election cycle-and Obama has ordered more medical Marijuana raids per year than W did.  Which is it?  Shill or moron?  I suppose they aren't mutually exclusive.

Oh, and the people that pay your bills by buying your shit are being murdered and imprisoned, BTW.  No big deal, right?  I mean as long as you can claim deferred status on the DREAM act, an endless cycle of incarceration and murder to fight the devil weed is no big deal.  I mean, its just weed, guys, it isn't the most important thing.  LOL stoners.  So stupid and predictable.

Oh, and you know what other promise your boy Obama has broken?  You know that horrible place where terrorists and funny looking American citizens are sexually abused by racist homophobic rednecks, as you so brilliantly portray here?

Yeah, still open by the way.  But nothing about this whole scenario screams hypocrite, eh?

Fuck you, Penn, and all your D list celebrity pals.  I hope they outlaw Botox next.

Stoners, Vote Gary Johnson or Get The Fuck Out of the Way.

My Big "Why I'm Not Voting for Romney" Post

"Anyone but Obama."

I keep hearing this nonsense on facebook and from some other conservative friends in meatspace.  I never hear "Mitt Romney is so great" from them, just that anyone would be better than Obama.

But before I buy that nonsense, before I even like Mitten's page on facebook, I am going to need something.

First off, with regard to gun rights, I want to hear him say "I repent."  Not "I will respect the rights of American gun owners" or "I am a dedicated hunter and sportsman myself" or even "Gun control is morally wrong" but "I repent my sins against the gun owners of my state."  For all that he is making the right, NRA approved noises, Mittens has shown nothing but contempt for 2A and anyone that tries to say otherwise is either an idiot or a liar-he signed every piece of anti gun toilet paper that came across his desk.  In addition, because actions and not words count in politics, I want to see him begin the process of dismantling the various onerous gun regulations of Massachusetts, which are so absurd that it makes California look like a free state.

Second, I'm going to need him to stop looking at bureacracy as the solution instead of the problem.  Seriously, even without considering gun laws, Massachusetts is a pretty good example of a douchebag state government.  He can make all the noises about "Rampant spending" and "Big Government" that he wants, but his state still stands as a shining example of Big Government Utopia.  Again, actions not words-I want concrete processes in place to reduce the size of that great groaning load of sewage that is the Mass bureacracy.

I can't really hold out hopes that somehow White Obama will see the light and repent of his Statist Sins, maybe do something really crazy like stop with the endless foreign wars.  In the end, it comes down to this-the sole concrete advantage to Freefor from a Mittens presidency is that the race card has been pulled from the deck, that you can call a facist policy what it is without being lumped in with the Aryan Brotherhood.  Of course, that doesn't factor in the number of Freefor "assets" that will immediately stand down when there is a Heffalump in office instead of a Woozle.

I'm afraid until then, I will continue tilting at windmills by voting Libertarian.  Why?  Because I've gone this long without voting for a statist, and I don't plan on selling out now.  If you are, I am forced to ask, what exactly is it that you are looking forward to about a Romney presidency?  Because I see nothing but trouble on the horizon.

Interesting Reading

First, read this and gather some useful intel.

Well, folks, looks like they are at least thinking about it.

"Full Spectrum Operations" sounds a hell of a lot better than "Martial Law" eh?

Of course, they ignore the most dangerous possibility, and the one upon which FREEFOR has hung it's collective chances the most-that large elements of the US Military may support an insurgency with intelligence, equipment, and out-and-out defection, or even worse, they may start questioning their orders to kill the citizens-easier in a foreign nation, much harder on US soil.  Still, the fact that they are thinking about the situation means that there are professional soldiers who acknowledge the possibility of insurrection in our lifetime.

Just how hard are you training?  Good, now harder.

Still, as Oscar Wilde put it, there is only one thing worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.  I'll see you in Gitmo, patriots.

More Timely Than Ever

Macdonough's Song - Rudyard Kipling

As easy as A B C"--A Diversity of Creatures"
Whether the State can loose and bind
In Heaven as well as on Earth:
If it be wiser to kill mankind
Before or after the birth--
These are matters of high concern
Where State-kept schoolmen are;
But Holy State (we have lived to learn)
Endeth in Holy War.

Whether The People be led by The Lord,
Or lured by the loudest throat:
If it be quicker to die by the sword
Or cheaper to die by vote--
These are things we have dealt with once,
(And they will not rise from their grave)
For Holy People, however it runs,
Endeth in wholly Slave.

Whatsoever, for any cause,
Seeketh to take or give
Power above or beyond the Laws,
Suffer it not to live!
Holy State or Holy King--
Or Holy People's Will--
Have no truck with the senseless thing.
Order the guns and kill!
Saying --after--me:--

Once there was The People--Terror gave it birth;
Once there was The People and it made a Hell of Earth
Earth arose and crushed it. Listen, 0 ye slain!
Once there was The People--it shall never be again!

Cut It Out, Goddamnit

Listen folks-you need to stop chest thumping about the healthcare bill.

If this is your line in the sand, then get to work.  The bill has already passed.  Remember what Kerodin  discusses here.

But the fact is that control of your body was already ceded to the .gov when our grandparents decided it was OK for the Feds to ban the use of certain psychoactive chemicals on account of their evilness.  Your fleshy meats stopped being sovreign territory a long time ago, and this bill is simply the logical extension of that line of statist thinking.

Is a stupid, bungled, overcomplicated atrocity that will harm the very industry it purports to reform?  Yeah, of that I have no doubt.

Will it actually increase healthcare costs by forcing everyone in healthcare to hire more and more compliance lawyer drones of the Mandarin class?  Duh.

Is it, when looked at objectively, an unconstitutional violation of your personal freedom?  You betcha.

But the only difference between the healthcare bill and drug prohibition is that there is a chance they might start killing your people instead of mine.  My people have been dying of "The Human Body As Public Property (For Your Own Good Of Course)" since they rolled out prohibition in the 20s.  It pisses me off, but I haven't popped the nuggets of any DEA agents yet...because popping DEA nuggets would not be a productive route to the changes I want to make.

At least, for now.

Day of Action Inflation

Indiana Antifa-the group claiming responsibility for the "Tinley Park 5" who have been charged with storming a White Nationalist meeting in Chicago-have proclaimed July 31st as a "Day of Action" against racism.  I keep up on this group as they are local to my AO and I'd like to know in advance if there are going to be riots and shit in my city.  Of course, since a bake sale is on their list of acceptable measures to take against the scourge of whiteness or whatever the fuck it is they are protesting, I'm not exactly breaking out the body armor and chest rig yet, but I like to be aware of it.

Anyway, I keep hearing this term thrown around in what passes for the underground in modern America.  "Day of Action."  As in, choose one day and take action.  A sterling idea, I suppose, but by my count, Occupy, NBPP and some other leftist groups have had six "Days of Action" out of the past 365 and I haven't seen the streets of my city running with the blood of capitalist pigs yet.  I haven't even been late to work due to the flood of protestors blocking the thouroughfares.  Six Days of Action and I haven't even smelled a single burning tire.

You know, back in the 90's we had real riots.  People got killed, buildings got burned, shops got looted, and America watched with bated breath for the outcome-and survivalists sharpened their knives and waited.  Now I'm so goddamn jaded with the concept of "DAY OF ACTION!  GRAB SOME PRESS, MAKE WHITEY AFRAID!" that I'm not even going to call a Defcon code to the rest of the tribe.

You sad fucks need to consolidate your Days of Action.  Day of Action inflation is clearly running rampant.  Discarded calendar pages are piling up like Weimar republic bills.

CBTT Plays Cassandra: Gunwalker Predictions

A lot of people are covering gunwalker right now and the invocation of Executive Privellege on the documents surrounding it.  I'm not going to bore you with the details-if you are reading this blog, you probably know most of them.  I'm just going to go all Cassandra of Troy here and make a couple of predictions.

#1: The Vanderbouegh fantasy doesn't happen; Gunwalker is NOT the scandal that delegitamizes this administration.  While the idea of one lone blogger breaking a scandal that brings a sitting POTUS down is a powerful one, that just isn't going to happen.  Like it or not, the Old Media Industrial Complex is circling the wagons here and protecting their investment.
#2: After a long period of partisan haggling, the GOP succeeds in getting Justice to produce documentation and....it's TURR'RISTS!  W invoked EP for the same reason several times, citing a danger to personnel in the field.  Maybe legit, maybe not-which is the tricky thing about EP.  While Gunwalker likely had nothing to do with terrorists, some post dated documentation wouldn't be hard to fabricate.  There are some suspected links between Hezbollah and various Mexican cartels-but the important thing is that most brain dead mouth breathers in TV land hear the term 'TURR'RISM' and start bleating like sheep demanding that we take more of their money and freedom.
#3: The whole thing blows over just in time for the election, with bloggers once more relegated to Tinfoil Hat territory.  Maybe another AWB goes through after the election, maybe not-but more importantly people will only snicker at anything they didn't see on their cable news propaganda ticker.
#4: The Drug War marches on over the broken bodies of anyone who dissents.
#5: Rachael Maddow continues to be a cunt.

This will be the last thing I post about Gunwalker.  The legitimacy of  this government has never been in question for me.  They've been killing my people too long.

Get to work, mother fuckers.  I'd rather most of you survive.
